I'm sorry, I should've posted this a LONG time ago. But I'd assume people would figure this one out. A lot of people did, BUT, there were just to many people who asked about this, so I made it. SO STOP ASKING!!!

Do you know how to re-size without it being blurry.

Reply Blahmaster, August 19th, 2008, 8:51 pm

Heres what you can try until he makes a tut for that(if Waffle does). resize the sprite in regular Paint and then copy and paste. Not a fancy technique but it works.

I would also like to know how to enlarge a single box of a single color without it blurring, but that first paragraph was for if there were impatient people that wanted to know the same thing as Weaver.

Simple. In the top bar, go to Image > Resize. Then, where it says "Resampling," select "Nearest Neigbor" in the drop-down thingy next to it. Resize to 200% or whatever, and SUPRISE! IT'S PERFECTLY PIXELISED!

As for selecting and stretching, just choose "pixelated" where it says quality when selecting a tool that uses it.

Also, I think it savews it untill you close Paint.net. There IS a way to make "Nearest Neighbor" the standard so you dont have to do it ever time you boot up, but I forgot how...

Oh, and I have a request: Can you teach us how to make a 3D wall like in your "I'm back... With Filler." issue?

Reply Remix Knight, August 19th, 2008, 9:35 pm

I've always wondered how to make words bold and italic without changing the rest of the sentence the same way as I did the word.

Reply D00D64, August 20th, 2008, 9:29 am

You dont. You need to stop making the sentence, start another, and then do it. The text option is not as good as Photoshop's.

Please continue with your button tut. I made a new comic and want to know how to make next and previous buttons.

Thanks, D00D64. :P

Reply Waffle, August 20th, 2008, 8:42 pm

Thx for that Dood, I was going to make one, but I was away from my comp from the time I first saw that comment, but I'm going to make the next/previous buttons next.

I have another request.
How do you turn the sprites horizontally or vertically without turing the background?

Please and Thank you.

Reply hub12, August 23rd, 2008, 8:18 am

use regular paint.

Reply btownboi, August 23rd, 2008, 7:48 pm

I was one of the people who needed help with that.

I found out of course, then the checkered background stuck with the sprite also. I think I figured it out cause I can't do it now heh.

I still say you should just do a basic sprite comic tutorial, just because people will constantly ask for it.

Spear:Umm....lemme see...EVERYHTING!

Reply Guest, August 25th, 2008, 5:12 pm

@spear
There is a plug-in that allows you to flip only the selection. I'll try to find the name. For now, simply paste it into another image and go to images> flip (vertical/horizontal) I had the same issue too.

@Icnos
Once I finish the button thing, I'll do a guide for it.

Reply PenguinPerson, December 10th, 2008, 2:04 pm

How do delete it I selected it but then I could only fill it in white Help!

Reply SoubitheNinja, December 23rd, 2008, 8:39 am

hit the 'delete' button after you select the background.

Then go to the background layer and delete that if you dont want any background while you make stuff.
